April meeting is on the 3rd wednesday!
(the 4th wednesday is anzac day)
The Club Logo is being tweaked and prettied as we speak.
Congrats to Mr Mason Trunfio who was apparently the designer of the 'star' logo - nice work!
We have 33 members and 3 corporate sponsors - brilliant.
More coming.
Our president has signed up a new member of the club, but I will leave that to him to supply details...
There is a meeting about the Music Club production/show on the 22nd of April. If you have any comments, ideas or suggestions, please get them to us at the next club night ON THE 18TH.

W.A.S.O do on the 16th May... from 5.30pm till 8.00pm ( or thereabouts. ) We need enough people to run two BBQ's, help marg the bread, sell drinks, etc etc ... general help to tidy up afterwards... hopefully most of you can come along...
Please contact me on 0427372767 to confirm... so I get an idea of names. Those who have previously submitted please redo, as I know circumstances can change. Cheers.

Hi Everyone... WOW!!! What a show we had last Wednesday night with WASO. Firstly, I'd like to thank and congratulate all who attended the "sundowner" and helped with setting up and cleaning up, for cooking the grub and ensuring the food settings were tops. Big thank you to Pres Webbie, for getting all the stuff together and getting it to the theatre. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and our Club got some HUGE publicity from it....watch out for next week's Mercury.!!!!
Comments from the WASO people were just awesome... and that's what they thought of us... WE WERE AWESOME!!.... not just the catering side of things, but for considering they might like to hear us play them a tune or two!!.... they were rapt in that as well... with good comments from all there. So, after playing in front of such a professional outfit like WASO, we can do anything now!!??!!...haha ( maybe thats just delayed nerves coming out) - but seriously it was a real buzz.
We are going to be pretty heavily supported by CBH towards getting a P.A system... because they also appreciated what we did. Hopefully we can get the ball rolling really quickly on that because we have a drum kit and the P.A will help a good deal for smaller gigs.
Is anyone interested in doing something at the Northside Tavern on a Sunday evening - from 7pm - 8pm...probably once a month? Bill supports us nicely with catering when we have meetings, and would like us to play a few songs to patrons once in a while. He said if we develop a following, and get more people to come to the tavern, then he will PAY us!!!
Any thoughts on this?... I'm prepared to have some fun and have a go... pretty sure Rohan will be in it... up to you guys...
So, we can be really proud of our efforts for WASO... see if something comes out of it.

Hi Everyone, gee whiz there are so many spots in this proboards... but just letting you know that we will be having a fairly big Club night next Wednesday, so if all can get there around 6.15pm? We have a frying pan for cooking snaggers now, so just need bread / marg etc. President Webbie has something to say to us all BEFORE we start practising, so please be aware of this. Also, it was recently mentioned at the Committee that we should be asking ALL members for feed-back on things that you feel might help us improve the Club, its functions and anything else.... so if there is something on your mind etc, please feel free to document it here for all to see and we'll try to fix it. THIS IS YOUR SPACE.....

Hello all,
Just a mention that the committee has some important information to discuss with you at our next Club night... so can you all be there? Also, let others know if you are aware they won't get to read this.
The Merredin Show is this coming Saturday, and if any of you want to "have a go", we will have a truck for a stage by the bar area at the Rec Centre. We are scheduled to play from 4.30pm to 7.30pm. The Club is getting paid for providing about 3 hours of entertainment to the public, and we need some people who want to perform. So, bring your instrument and be part of a bit of fun.
We will have amps, drums, mics etc there, so even if you want to sing a song or just play an instrumental... feel free to be part of it.
We have a raffle going... the prize is an electric "starter" kit with amp, guitar, strap, extra strings, dvd on lessons, picks etc... valued around $ 300. Tickets are only $2 each. Hopefully we will sell all tickets by 7PM when the draw will take place. Tell your friends, tell anybody and everybody to come along and support the Club by buying some tickets and cheering / clapping loudly each performer..... sound good?
Every dollar we make will take us closer to getting our own P.A system and fold backs etc.

Hey there Muso's, just wanting to let you all know that there is a SOUND workshop being held Tuesday 23rd at the Cummins Theatre from 2pm - 6pm. This covers aspects of lighting, stage setting up etc as well, so might be good if anyone if free to go.... please do so. That way you can teach us others what to do...
Anyway, if you can go, please contact Jane at the Theatre on 90412395.

Fellow Muso's,
Just an up-date from the AGM last night... we have deferred the concert from the 15th Dec to sometime in January / February. We will be having our club night for December on the 19th but it won't be the theatre.. probably at the Northside Tavern...open mic night for "jammers" and a few drinks etc to celebrate the year. Will advise as soon as arrangements can be sorted.
Pres Webbie is still with us, and Mark Pawlak is Vice-Pres. I have taken on Secretary and Greg Wahlsten is our new Treasurer. Geoff Lee, Reece Gamble, Ben Chandler, Naedine Cockram, Bec and Rhianne are the new committee... and if you have any issues about the club or want items raised... please speak to any of the committee and we'll try to sort it.
We're gonna have a few workshops next year for sound, lighting etc and Jane Bandurski is getting something together with WAM.
On the 22nd December Papertrail is coming to the Theatre and we can do the bar for that... just soft-drinks and confectionery, maybe even some sausages? Anyone prepared to help out, please advise one of the committee. Papertrail are also looking for some support acts, so if you want to do something there please speak to Jane Bandurski at the Theatre.

Hey everyone,
all confirmed for Wednesday evening 19th December at the Northside Tavern.... bring along some friends and enjoy a couple of hours entertainment and then drinks etc.
Bill & Colleen have agreed to stay open till late for us.
Might even be able to sell some raffle tickets and "fund-raise" there too. Be a nice chance to farewell Duanne because he will be leaving before the New Year....tch tch!!
