Ever since computers have been around this argument has been raging. Im just wondering on your opinions. I was a PC man until quite recently when i made the move. The selling factor was the new intel macs, with the option to run windows on them.
I have to say that after having my mac for probably close to 6 months i couldnt go back to using windows full time. OSX is imo leapps an bounds above windows in every aspect. Its reliable, really easy to navigate and everything ive tried to run on it (eg. Pro Tools, Reason) have just worked unlike windows.
Im a converted man but im curious to hear your opinions.

You know me Redgey - Pcs all the way bro. Sorry, but its just in my blood.
And yeah, I know Mac's have got two mouse buttons now, but like Billy Ray Cyrus's hair, some things can NEVER be forgiven.

I became a convert to Mac at the beginning of last year when I started cert 4. The labs we use at Tafe are all Mac so it just had to be. The problem I find mostly is running macs off a PC server. Not a smart move guys.
And as far as the intel chip is concerned I am not feeling it. It just provides the ability for virus' to be created to run on a system that has previously been virus free for around 7 years. Getting back onto a PC is like going back to the stone age. They are just such big hulking masses.

I like that I dont have to download software for tafe. I take my external drive to tafe, plug er in, and drag and drop from the applications folder. Take home, do the reverse and tadaaa!! Adobe CS2 suit pro thank you very much.

Macs win. Really, they're just awesome.
I bought one about 5 months ago, because I knew they had a better reputation for graphics making then pcs so. But the funny thing is I have made no graphics on it yet. :/
Even without that though they are just so much better.
I couldn't believe how easy they were to use. I had never even touched a mac before I got mine delivered, I was really buying blind, but as soon as I used it I just knew what I was doing.
Win win win.
Love the screen resolution. So bright and ... stuff.

Funny you should say that. I have my screen brightness down to minimum mostly. I think that has something to do with my tendancy to work on loads of things through the late hours of the night with all the rest of the house lights off... Good to see you have come to the dark(or is that the light?) side Jess

Bah! I must be the only evil one here.
So be it. I bear the burden of the dark side alone. At least on my PC I can play games until 6:30 in the morning. YAY!
