Hey Guys (and Gals), Paul Speering from the Perth band Papertrail here. I'm currently organising a Wheatbelt tour, to promote our recently released EP, that would include Northam, Merredin and Narrogin, and I'm just touching bass with you guys out there. I've fired off an email to Jeff who I'd previously spoken to, but he hasn't got back to me just yet. I heard a rumour that he had moved somewhere else. I've got an agreement with The Avon Bridge Hotel in Northam, and I'm looking for info on some of the places in Merredin that might be suitable. I'll actually be heading out to Merredin for work on Monday the 6th of August, so if it was possible, I wouldn't mind meeting up with some of you guys for a chat. We'll also be looking to have at least one local band support us for our night out at Merredin too. Thanks in advance for your time, and if you so desire, you can check out our music on one of the links in my signature. Cheers, Paul Speering 'Promotions Manager' Papertrail Mob: 0417185505 Email: papertrail@papertrail.com.au www.papertrail.com.au

Hi Paul, I've listened to your samples. Those are some decent indie tunes you have going there. Yes, Jeff has just left us for pastures new and has a different email address as well now. As for a venue, that depends entirely on how big a gig you're talking about. We have a few pubs and the theatre, so I'm sure finding somewhere won't be a problem.

Hello once again. I was out in Merredin today, and it seemed as if I dragged a bit of rain out there for you too!! I had a good day talking to various people around the town about music and the like. The Theatre is spectacular, and we'd love to play there. I spoke to Jane there, and she gave me a bit of a tour, and I'm sure we can arrange something with the Shire, the MMC and the Theatre. I spoke to Bryan at the radio station, and Ryan at the Toy Kingdom, and there's a few copies of our EP floating around out there. If you speak to them nicely, they might let you have a listen hahaha. Hopefully we can score some airplay on your local airwaves as well. At this stage, we're aiming to be out there during November. I'm looking forward to it already!

Hi all, just thought I'd keep you all up to date with what's been happening in the Papertrail world I can now officially annouce the dates for our little tour of The Wheatbelt Friday December 21st, Avon Bridge Hotel, Northam Saturday December 22nd, Cummins Theatre, Merredin (all ages) Sunday December 23rd, Cornwall Hotel, Narrogin Supports will be announced shortly, and I'm working on getting some other in-store and all ages shows happening while we're on the road too. Ryan, I need to send you an email haha. Most importantly, all shows are FREE!!! Also, I reckon we could make our show in Merredin a bit of a fund raiser for you guys in the club as well. Drinks (softies and alcohol maybe), food, BBQ, whatever. We'll also be looking for some local support acts too, we're aiming to make the Merredin show the big one of the weekend. So, there you have it, I'll be putting out a press release in the near future, and we're working on the tour poster at the moment. In the meantime, if you're looking for something to do this Friday night, we're making a guest appearance at The Avon Bridge Hotel in Northam at about 9pm. So feel free to come on down and check us out live Take it easy, Speero

Hi all,
I just thought I'd update you on the progress of this tour. We're just working on the finer details at the moment, and once we have some extra, special shows confirmed, we'll rig up the poster (with the MMC logo proudly displayed) and send some through. As I mentioned above, this show will be free, and we're happy for you guys to use it as a fund raiser by selling food, drinks etc.
As for supports, there will probably be scope to have 2 support acts on the night, but as the time draws nearer, we can arrange those.
There's also a strong chance that there'll be a special "Tour Edition" of our EP, with some bonus material at no extra cost as well!
So how does all that sound? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers,
Paul Speering

Ahhh, the good ole Sans... I'm a good mate with Graham, their lead singer, he's a great bloke. And thanks for the feedback too All the dates are now locked in, and I'm waiting on two more things before I'll release the official press release for this tour, and the associated poster (which looks pretty cool, if I do say so myself ). It will all kick arse, don't worry about that!

Im just about to release the official Press Release for the tour, and does anyone have a contact person at The Mercury, rather than just the generic email address that I could use?
Cheers,
